: ( Tried to use Illustrator this week, but failed miserably and have gone back to Photoshop.

cute illo. like the way you used the spots of color for the lighting effects. i have just the opposite problem when it comes to using the brushes in photoshop.
Guess it just takes time and alot of patiences.
I find line drawings to be great in illustrator, and coloring best in photoshop. Of course i'm new to the whole thing but it looks like we have that in common. either way your work is adorable and full of cheer! :) kudos
