Illustration Friday : Ghost

When I was at uni (many years ago) our shared house was rather taken by surprise when some children knocked on the door "trick or treat"ing. All we could give them were some old bashed bananas and the boys were mightily unimpressed.

But frankly we were unimpressed by the most rubbish (!) ghost costume EVER. All this boy had done was put a hole in a bin bag and put it over his head. His friend had done nothing, but he was actually just as scary.

ROFL. That is so funny, and a great illustration. It took me back to many memories of living in Belfast, when the kids in the street would trick or treat every night for about 2 weeks before halloween. They wouldnt bother dressing up, and I'd tell them to come back at halloween, which they never did as they all went to halloween parties that night.

Heheh! Yea, kids these days are so spoilt XD I remember when my bro was little we decorated a little bathtub and stuck it on his back (he was a turtle) and he wore a little bonnet with a turtle skin pattern and NO-one could figure out what he was... reading the caption on your artwork reminded me of that X )

nice work. at least he tried. i get lots of kids with no costume. and they i say that their mask is really ugly, and they should take it off. then they say "I'm not wearing a mask" then i say "no mask, no candy"
